Peter Emmand

Born in Moscow, Peter Emmand studied sculpture at the prestigious Moscow Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1989, Peter moved to the United States in search of further artistic outlets. Here he became an apprentice of famed hair guru Roger Thompson who took Peter under his wing, keeping a close look at his protégé.

Peter possesses and innate ability to accentuate his clients’ best features with the most precise haircuts. He believes that every client’s hair should reflect their personality and lifestyle – not current trends – and strongly discourages the clients to duplicate the style of celebrities. Peter stresses the importance of working with hair’s organic texture; his artistic vision and expert cutting techniques create natural, energetic & maintenance-free looks. “I want my clients to love their hair while accepting its natural spirit”, says Peter.
